Steven Sklifas is an old soul, and his passion and speciality is photographing and writing about old historical things.
His interests in travel, history, archaeology, architecture, gardening, philosophy, and the natural world have combined with his natural friendliness, good humour and curious nature to deliver a wide ranging and significant series of imagery and creative content.
His objective and responsibility through his photography is to stimulate, educate and appreciate; the camera in his hands is a powerful illuminating conduit, producing a cultural and physical visual link between past and present.
An eternal traveller, his quests and adventures have extended from his home in Melbourne Australia to North Africa and the Middle East, throughout the Mediterranean, and Europe, and the North and South American continents.
When not working on projects, he loves tending to his flower and vegetable garden, going on leisurely walks around his local neighbourhood and catching up with friends and family.
