Rome. Italy. View of the Edicola della musa (Kiosk of the Muse)shrine monument at the Villa Borghese Gardens, the second largest public park in Rome. Dating from 1842, the monument depicts a female muse statute and was flanked by two female statues, now disappeared. The park which is in the heart of Rome is one of Europe’s most elegant parks and features a lake, temples, fountains, statues, small zoo and several museums. It’s a pleasure to walk or bike through its leafy lanes and watch Romans and tourists at play or relaxing and escape the hectic streets of Rome
