Greece. Samos. Archaic statues sculptures from the 6th century BC at the Archaeological Museum in Vathy or Samos town. The statue on the far left of the image is the figure of the dressed youth which is particularly rare in the Archaic art of Attica, although not uncommon in Ionia. Dating from 540 BC, the youth has oriental features and short neck which relates more to art of Ionia.
