Rhodes. Greece. The blue Aegean Sea through the arched entrance to Kritinia Castle (Castle of Castello) on the west coast of Rhodes Island. Dating from 16th century the medieval strategic fortress was built by the Knights of St John and once boasted several coast of arms of several Grand Masters. It is surrounded by olive groves and pines wood and offers spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and the Wild West Coast of Rhodes Island. The island of Rhodes is the largest of the Dodecanese Island group and one of the most popular Greek Islands.
