Perge. Antalya. Turkey. Part vew of the Roman Agora, the social, political and commercial heart of the ancient city. The square plan structure consists of central area surrounded by porticoes and on the outside there are rows of market shops. In its centre is a round edifice or tholus of unknown purpose. The well preserved ancient city of Perge was founded by colonists originating from the Peloponnese in Greece.
