The Greek Classical styled theatre was built during the resign of King Mausolus in the 4th century B.C. then modified in the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.D. under the Romans for wild beast shows and Gladiatorial contests. This image was captured at the cosmopolitan, vibrant and historical city of Bodrum which was known in antiquity as Halicarnassus and is famous for being the birthplace of the celebrated Greek historian Herodotus.
