Colossal statute of Hercules situated opposite the main staircase of the Royal Palace, Reggia di Caserta, Italy. The statue is a copy by Andrea Violani (1770-1773). The 18th century Royal Palace or Reggia di Caserta is Italy’s most magnificent Palace and its immense park is one of the most dazzling and grandiose in Europe. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
