Delos . Greece. The four re-erected marble columns belonging to the complex of the Foundation of the Poseidoniasts of Berytos (Beirut). The structure dates from around the 2nd century and consisted of a large central peristyle court with an underground cistern and several enclosing rooms that functioned as a place of worship and meeting place for merchants and ship owners and warehouse owners from Beirut.
