Perge. Antalya. Turkey. View of the front façade of the Roman entrance gate built during the reign of Emperor Septimius Severus (193-211). Built in the form of a triumphal arch, the gate is particularly decorated on the inner side. The well preserved ancient city of Perge was founded by colonists originating from the Peloponnese in Greece.
