To the right are the ruins of the priest’s room. This image was captured at the Asklepieion, the sanctuary of Asklepios, the Greek god of medicine and healing and son of Apollo. It lays 3.5 kilometers north-west of Kos Town and stands on the slopes of a low hill and enjoys a superb view over the sea and the coast of Asia Minor (Turkey) opposite.
