Images in this photo gallery are from the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut on the west bank of the River Nile just across from Luxor ancient Thebes. Queen Hatshepsut was one of only a few women ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh and was ruler during the 18th Dynasty- 14th century BC.
